  Sweet, humble little cottage in a quiet neighborhood. Four bedrooms (one is a TV room) 2.5 baths was fine for a family of three. Well-maintained, clean and good instructions. Dog friendly was essential. Nice balcony for relaxing with a peak at the sea and very close to the beach gate. Worked out well for visiting family in Aptos and taking care of business we needed to accomplish in the area.

  A very casual, beach location with sounds of the sea through open windows. Location was great, house was a good value (before hidden charges added), and town is laid back. Just what my daughters and I were hoping for. Downside was the constant reminder of check out time. In caps, underscored, on multiple pages of contract and binder left in the house. But the real kicker was the reminder call the second evening about check out time. It really killed the buzz. Overall a great getaway, but IN SPITE OF instead of BECAUSE OF.

  Our time in Aptos was enhanced by staying here. The location was perfectly suited to our activities. Access to the beach was only a couple of minutes away by foot. We regularly walked up to get ice cream. The house had everything we needed. Our only quibbles were that some blinds needed to be repaired and that the house was a little dirty. Overall, We’d definitely stay here again.

  My family and I enjoyed our stay. I would have liked more blankets for sofa bed. Also, the instructions in blue binder on coffee table needs to be updated in regards to the table umbrella and outside chairs. Propane tank on bbq needs to be filled as it was almost out. The location is great. Not far from path to Seacliff Beach.
